Workers' Compensation

Hurt on the job? Your recovery — and your claim — start here.

For more than 40 years, injured workers across the Bronx have come to The Rehab Group because we do two things exceptionally well: we treat the injury, and we document it the way the New York workers' compensation system requires. No billing surprises. No paperwork left to you.

What we handle for injured workers

Hands-on chiropractic treatment at The Rehab GroupHands-on care, four decades deep

Authorized workers' compensation treatment

We treat job-related spinal misalignments, soft-tissue injuries, and repetitive-strain conditions under your workers' compensation coverage — your treatment is billed to the carrier, not to you.

Complete claim documentation

Workers' comp claims live and die on medical records. Every visit is documented thoroughly — initial evaluations, progress notes, work-status reports, and degrees of disability — so your claim has the evidence it needs.

Coordination with your attorney

If you're represented, we work directly with your lawyer's office: narrative reports, records requests, and scheduling around hearings. If you need a referral to an experienced workers' comp attorney, ask us.

Return-to-work planning

Our goal is your full recovery. We combine chiropractic adjustment, physiotherapy, corrective exercise, and modalities like spinal decompression and electrical stimulation to get you safely back to work.

In a car accident instead?

No-fault accident injuries get the same complete care

Car accident injuries are covered by New York's no-fault insurance regardless of who caused the crash — and they run on a different paperwork system we've also mastered for four decades.

Workers' comp questions, answered

What injured Bronx workers ask us most

Does workers' compensation cover chiropractic care in New York?
Yes. New York workers' compensation covers chiropractic treatment for job-related injuries. Your care is billed directly to the workers' comp carrier — not to you.
Do I have to pay anything for my work-injury treatment?
No. Authorized workers' compensation treatment is billed to the insurance carrier. You pay nothing out of pocket for covered care.
Can I choose my own chiropractor for a work injury?
In most New York workers' comp cases, you have the right to choose your own treating provider, as long as they're authorized by the Workers' Compensation Board. The Rehab Group has treated job injuries for four decades.
What if the insurance company disputes my claim?
Disputed claims live or die on documentation. We document every visit thoroughly — objective findings, work-status reports, and degrees of disability — and coordinate directly with your attorney for hearings and IMEs.
Will you provide reports for my workers' comp hearing?
Yes. We provide the narrative reports, progress notes, and work-status documentation your case and your attorney need. Attorneys can refer clients here.
How soon can I be seen after a work injury?
New injury patients are typically seen the same week. Early treatment means a stronger recovery and a stronger claim — the sooner your injury is documented, the better.

Injured? Every day you wait weakens your claim.

Call now — workers' comp and no-fault patients are seen promptly, and the paperwork is on us.
